Jill is a big believer in the power of life-long learning. For more than 20 years, she’s dedicated some of her time to teaching youth and adult art workshops at venues like the Racine Art Museum, the Bead&Button Show, Craftcast.com and children’s afterschool art programs. Jill has instructed students in monoprinting techniques, transfer printing, life drawing, painting, and jewelry-making. Of course, she continues to take classes too!
As a teaching artist, Jill has partnered with Artists Working in Education (AWE), to facilitate mural projects in schools in her area.
Jill is a returning instructor at the Bead&Button Show, where she has taught beginning-level metal and enamel projects, as well as a popular three-day polymer workshop.
Visitors to the Art Jewelry magazine website can watch how-to videos Jill has made that demonstrate techniques in metal clay, polymer clay, wire, enamels, and basic metal work. Or, check out the magazine’s YouTube channel to watch these videos.
