Jill has served as Chair of We Are Girl Entrepreneurs (WAGE), a curriculum for middle school girls offered through the Center for Teaching Entrepreneurship. This program walks the students through the steps of running a business. Community mentors teach the students about every aspect of what it takes to start up and maintain a business.
Through the local Safe and Sound program in Milwaukee, Jill has taught art courses, jewelry-making, and facilitated mural projects that provide a constructive and creative outlet for at-risk youth.

Jill was honored in 2004 by the US Postal Service at their sixth annual "Women Who Put Their Stamp on Metro Milwaukee" awards banquet. She was recognized for her community contributions in the area of arts and entertainment.
